The Faery Princess by Nyki Blatchley

A love less ordinary

Tom, a simple farm boy, gets more than he bargained for when he finds a little something extra in his bed one night. He assumes it's a prank until he's magically bound and ravished by Gossamer, Princess of the Faeries.  Tom falls in love with the beautiful faery, but there's a problem: his beloved Gossamer is merely a projection. The true Princess lies in eternal sleep, enchanted and imprisoned by an ogre.

Determined to rescue his love, Tom sets out on his heroic quest but soon learns it takes more than a sword, axe or bow to overcome the obstacles thrown in his path. His only real weapon is much more personal. And his devotion to Gossamer will only get him so far -- The closer he gets to his goal, the more impossible it becomes to resist temptation...

Review
Tom is on a quest to save his faery princess, Gossamer, but along the way will
have to perform various erotic…duties, all in the name of love.  The depth of Ms. Blatchley’s imagination and ability to tantalize the reader with her vivid and provocative tale was altogether a dizzying and pleasurable experience.

I highly recommend this fun fantasy, 5 Delightful Divas

Adventures in Space 2: Command Me by L.A. Day

The war is over and Commander Michel Giat faces his toughest task yet. He is asked to baby-sit the
general’s daughter. Expecting a child, he’s pleasantly surprised to find out Jade is a sexy woman. However, her sex appeal creates other problems.

General Valant may be Jade’s father and his superior
officer but he wouldn’t stop him from marrying Jade if
he chooses to. When Jade disappears on Vre’ Lio everything becomes clear. Michel wants Jade as his own. Finding her in a bar with two sex droids sets him on a course for revenge. Sexual manipulation is the game and he plans to teach her to follow his every command

Review:

Ms. Day’s book is short enough (53 pages) to be read in a single night, as I did, but it deserves to be spread out, so one can get several nights of enjoyment out of it. Real- feeling characters and good beginning D/s stuff, made me take interest in the offering from Changeling Press. All her characters execute well, but the droid Ro, with his sexually willing attitude, and his antagonist personality, made me sure Ms. Day was writing what she had once felt. The story is fast-moving, with few serious gaps, and no major plot defect, although I did find some of the made up place names more amusing than realistic. A super little read, I’m now wondering about Adventures in Space 1, like did I miss something good. If I wasn’t a perfectionist, I would give my first five Delightful Diva review to this short page turner, but I’m going to hold out and give Ms. Day four and one half  divas.

The Lady of Sexuality by Rorrey Lynch

Aeval, the Irish goddess of sexuality, has been sent to Earth by the Dagda, the Lord of All Things, to find a mortal to love her.  If she does not find true love within 21 days, she will perish.  She has great gifts: the gift of invisibility, the gift of telepathy, and the gift to show husbands how to sexually satisfy their wives completely, but even with her great powers, she struggles to survive among the Earthbound.  As if navigating the world of mortals isn’t difficult enough, she has to face her father’s arch enemy.
Andrew, a talented musician and the man of her dreams, has impenetrable defenses.  He is enthralled with Aeval, but unwilling to give her his love because he has been deeply hurt and he has no intention of letting that happen again.
Aeval and Andrew find themselves in a battle of hearts and wills that only true love will conquer. Will Aeval be able to break down Andrew’s defenses and will she be able to save him from Baylor’s twisted scheme?  Or will the Banshee cry in mourning for Andrew?

Review
In the first novella of the Daughters of Dagda series, Rorrey Lynch introduces the interesting saga of mythical goddesses who are sent to Earth by their father, the Lord of All Things, to escape extinction.
The only catch? Each must find a man who loves her in twenty-one days or perish. The Lady of Sexuality is the quest of Aeval, the goddess of sexuality. Posing as a sex therapist in London, she becomes enthralled with Andrew, the harpist. Though the woman he knows as April holds him spellbound, Andrew refuses to give her the one thing she must have to survive: his heart. As if the situation is not intricate enough, an evil force weaves its own charms on Andrew who develops an obsession with Aeval's magical harp. Though a terrifying enemy and heartbreak work against them, can true love save Aeval from her sisters' fate?

This story has an intriguing premise, but it didn't really hook me until the middle when Andrew's character unfolds. The hero is well-drawn with the right measure of emotional depth to grab hold of the reader's heart. At first, Aeval's motivations and emotions seem somewhat confused, but by the end they smooth out. The story is sprinkled with fascinating tidbits about mythology and musical history but not enough to overwhelm the characters or plot. The plot is inventive and the setting is enjoyable. It is clear from this novella that Rorrey Lynch is a talented, imaginative writer who I sense will be entertaining us with a whole treasure trove of creative tales in the future. The Lady of Sexuality merits the certainty that I will be reading the next installment in the Daughters of Dagda series!

The Only Gold by Pippa Bennett

When Irish Eyes are smiling will Eithne be able to resist or will she fall into those dreamy eyes?

Eithne Riordan curses Saint Patrick and all her Irish heritage, even spitting on them. That is until she meets up with the leprechaun who tempts, teases and oh so pleases her. Suddenly she’s disoriented, in a strange place—and nude and shivering and only several inches tall. She finds her way to the home of a leprechaun who has the power to judge her for her arrogance.

Tall and muscular, with green eyes and red-gold hair, the leprechaun offers a bargain. He will shorten her punishment to one night if she will give him either her body for his physical release or her soul to ease his loneliness. If she gives him her body, she may never be satisfied with the love of a man. If she gives him her soul, her life will be barren. She will become a ghost when she dies. She opts to give him her body.

Will a night of incredible passion with a handsome leprechaun ruin her chances for love with a mortal man?

Review:

Ms. Bennett had a fabulous opening scene which had me laughing.  Poor Eithne is trying to get the office mates off her back about her being Irish and it being St. Patty’s day and she’s not celebrating.  We get a taste for why she isn’t celebrating, when she arrives home to see her father sitting on her porch.  Eithne is not a very happy person, and she lets her bitterness fall out on others.

When her father leaves, she is suddenly shrunk to the size of a little mouse, and boy does she have a cat and mouse chase!  Enters Roe, the Elven Prince who has brought her to him to teach her a lesson.

She learns from Roe, how her bitterness has affected others, and ultimately her own happiness.  He teaches her that love is the most powerful of emotions and that she must make ammends for the hurts she has done to people.

Fabulous vivid descriptions, I felt like I was there with Eithne, urging her on, feeling her pain, sorrow and in the end her happiness.  A nice love story with a happy ending.
4 Delightful Divas.

Scarlet Promise by Sapphire Phelan

Victor, an undead vampire, has fled to another planet in the future to survive, for Earth is now poison to his kind.

Na'lesa has been alive for eons, the last of her race--drastically changed--now she lives a life as a living vampire.

One night they both run into each other over some prey.
Two lonely people: they find love, sex, and blood, and not necessarily in that order.

Review:

Ms Phelan brings back the campy B movie Vampire story. Taking her Vamp from the distinguished, gentlemen of Europe and placing him on a far removed planet in outer space. Victor has escaped Earth which has become deadly to his kind and lives now on a desolate planet. He thinks he's alone in this remote hell hole. Till he discovers an alien like himself, yet very different.
I really liked seeing Ms Phelan's twist on an old fave. This is the first sci fi vampire story I have read in a very long time. It's nice to see a change from the usual vampire fiction. That's not saying Victor isn't tall dark and handsome.  What would an erotic story be without a handsome hero. But the alien landscape give this book a new feel. Na'lesa isn't an alien like I'm used to either, she is an interesting species in her own right. This story has a lovely happy ending. And lets not forget the very steamy sex scene. Over all I have to give this book 4 and 1/2 delightful divas.

In The Gloaming: An Anthology of Faerie Stories

Faeries come from all cultures and countries and range in appearance from lovely to terrifying to looking like an everyday person. Some are benign, some malevolent. Based on actual faerie lore, this anthology incorporates the work of five spectacular authors who have penned tales of iridescent ice beings, fey men who love you into forgetfulness, frightening creatures who wear caps of human skin, enchanted lovers from a long lost era, and the land of faerie dreams.

Step into the world of glamor where the beautiful, the dreamy, the vicious, and even a bit of the sexually bizarre will captivate you--but beware of the fey's beguiling ways!

Review:
This anthology is a fabulous collection of Faerie stories by Cora Zane, Esmerelda Bishop, K.M. Frontain, Nita Wick
& Kelley Heckart.
Each story takes place in a different realm and time period and have equally sexually charged, action packed, engaging plots. Before you know it you’ll be fanning your face from the heat in this book. I really felt that I connected with each of the heroes and heroines in all five tales. All of these authors did a superb job in writing such vivid adventures that I felt I was right there in the middle of it. Whether our modern or historical characters were battling good or evil, they all experienced a happy ending that left me thoroughly satisfied.

In the Gloaming was a quick and enjoyable read, I would recommend this anthology for faerie and non-faerie lovers alike!  5 Delightful Divas.

After a horrible ordeal and lengthy captivity, Illori Swain is resigned to wither her life away in loneliness. Then she meets Karsten Morris, a male unicorn she has  been searching for, the other half of her soul.
A man of worth and a stallion of breeding, Karsten Morris sees Illori as his salvation, the love he’s searched for all his life. The luck and light that rule their existence finally bring them together, but everything worthwhile is tested, and fate isn’t against making the good suffer.
After escaping her captivity, free from the bonds of hell that held her, Illori is now hunted by two of Hell’s minions.
One, Sammael, a fallen angel with one foot in Heaven, is set on the scent by Lucifer himself. The other, Nybras, is a devil vying for Sammael’s job. Nybras will stop at nothing to get what he thinks he deserves.

When the devil cheats to gain his prize, Sammael must join forces with Karsten to save the mare Illori to make sure the balance of the verses are not compromised.

Review:
This book is fantastic. Stella and Audra have weaved magnificent characters into this fantasy world. Unicorns, Fey, Witches, even Angels and the Fallen keep you turning the pages, not to mention the hot sex scenes. The main characters Illori and Karsten are Unicorns trying to get back to their home called the Glimmer, but they are stuck on earth. With all the twist and turns you never know if they will ever make it back home.

All in all I give this book 4 1/2 Delightful Divas.

 Review:

This is a sweet story with hot sex. Aurelia and John get married in order to save Aurelia's life. But Aurelia can't shake that her brothers best friend is a traitor, and bails on the wedding night. Now Aurelia has bought John and is unsure what to do with him. She could take her droid's suggestion and dump him on a deserted rock or she could go with her heart. I loved the surprise ending.
