My Review: Get ready for a hot rough ride.  Captain Snake is about to take Izzy on the sexual journey of a lifetime.   But neither one will count on their sexual desires turning into something more.  If you like your love scenes to be edgy, erotic and bordering on taboo, this is the right read for you!  Ms. Sinclair’s A Pirate’s Hellion, was a fast and sexy read.

 My Review:

Addy left the Double Eagle Ranch and Jack Colter a long time ago and pledged never to come back to Texas. But her aunt's death brings her full circle to face the thousands of Texas acres that now belong to her and the cowboy who broke her heart. Determined not to let either crawl back into her heart, she threatens to break the prevision of the will that prevents her from selling Double Eagle Ranch. Jack dares her to stay, and she reluctantly agrees to give him ten days to talk her out of it. In a week, he shows her all over again what the ranch has to offer—as well as reacquainting her with the flaming passion they only just began to know before.

His Sweet Obsession is not just a must-read for western fans but for all erotic romance readers. The characters radiate, delving so deep authoress Tess MacKall makes it impossible not to connect with them. Double Eagle Ranch is a rich, perfect backdrop to Addy and Jack's scorching passion. The sex scenes are flaming hot and masterfully done. Ms. MacKall's writing is so polished and enjoyable, I couldn't stop flipping the pages until I reached the very end. My only wish is that this story was novel-length so I would've had an excuse to spend more time with Addy and Jack. This one's definitely a keeper. I'm definitely going to escape back to Double Eagle Ranch soon and looking forward to reading Ms. MacKall other works!

My Review:

Presley had returned from England and was doing research for her article in Abilene, Kansas, when an unexpected event happened. She woke to the sight of an eighteen wheeler bearing down on her. She felt her steering wheel jerk to the left. The next thing she knew, she was drawn by a masculine voice and a bright light.Dr. Hanson was standing by her bedside when she awoke. He told her she had a miraculous recovery and was ready to be discharged, if she would stay with him so he could keep an eye on her.

Vadim knew her in another lifetime and did not want to give her or what they had had up. He talked to her and tried to make her understand that he was not a ghost. Ezra wanted Dr. Hanson so badly she could hardly stand not being able to communicate with him. Vadim and Ezra both had a past life with Presley.

Presley returned to New York with Vadim haunting her all the way. They came to an understanding and Presley found out that Ezra wanted Dr. Hanson the same as her. Was Ezra a ghost like Vadim, haunting Dr. Hanson the same way Vadim was haunting her? After several discussions and happenings all four come to an agreement. Will this agreement make sense and accommodate all of them? Have you ever wanted your sexual fantasies to come true?

My Review:Lucas and Colleen had been married for seven years and were having difficulty conceiving. Their doctor had preformed several tests on both of them and there was no medical reason why they couldn't get pregnant. A sex therapist suggested they have an affair, with each other! Lucas agreed to carry out a fantasy that Colleen had. Will this fantasy help them conceive?

Jasmine Black writes a short story of a problem many couples have. Fun would be had if this advice would be followed. A refreshing read.

My Review: Jenny Penn has written a unique blend of searing passion, exceptional characters, and unexpected but hilarious humor.  Each character is unique and fun, leaving the story with few secondary, unneeded characters.  This one is definitely a keeper!

My Review: Harlee Davis had come home to Orcas Island. She cussed herself for loosing Rose's house key. She had hitched a ride from the ferry and now found herself cold and drenched from the rain. She forced the bathroom window open and crawled in, landing in the open toilet. Cursing, she found her way to the upstairs bedroom and the brass bed in which she had always felt comfortable. She shucked her wet clothes and crawled in bed. The storm ragged outside, lighting up the house with lightning. 

Jake Reynolds had left his apartment in Seattle and now arrived at his house on Orcas Island. He flipped the light switch to find the electricity was out. He drug his bags and cooler, with food inside, into the house and proceeded to the upstairs bedroom and the brass bed he was going to keep. He had bought this house a few years back and was planning a peaceful weekend. He also shucked his clothes and crawled into the same brass bed as Harlee. Expecting to find cold sheets, he found them warm and rubbed against flesh.

After determining the flesh belonged to a savage female Jake got her under control and learned that she was a friend of the previous house owner. That owner had died and Harlee had no idea.  Jake finally convinced Harlee to work for him, organizing his office.  She learned that Jake planned to develop her beloved property on Orcas
Island into a lakeside resort that would destroy the camp Rose had built for unfortunate kids.  Harlee had been sent there when she was taken from her single, fun loving mother by social services. Harlee had became a counselor there and had loved it. After spending time in Europe and various relationships she had returned to find Rose had died.  Harlee was trying to think of how she could change Jake's mind of
destroying the camp. He was good looking and had a killer smile. Maybe she could win his heart and get him to forget about building the resort. 

Harlee took a part-time job as a bartender and made Jake furious. He thought one job was enough for her and it irritated him when a guy pinched her butt. He stayed for the rest of the night and followed her home to make sure she was safe. When she arrived home she found her front door open and her befriended dog growling on the front porch. Someone had been in her house. Jake came to her rescue and stayed on her couch a few nights until a security system was installed. He did some investigating and found out the menus had left the island.  Opening mail was one of Harlee's job duties for Jake. A contract from the demolition company hired to demolish the camp had arrived and she had stashed it in the bottom of one of her desk drawer until she could figure out a way to convince Jake to keep the camp.

As time went by, Harlee found herself falling in love with Jake and she hoped he felt the same. She knew that this couldn't become a permanent thing because Jake came from wealth and she didn't.  Her friend in California offered her a job as manager of a horse operation as soon as it was finished. She had a few months to think it over and let her friend know of her decision. Harlee told Jake about this offer and hoped that he would want her to stay with him. 

Would the contract from the demolition company be found? Would Jake demolition the camp? And would Harlee and Jake make a life together? 

Jami Davenport writes a humorous/serious story about a couple falling in love with hard decisions to make that would effect the lives of numerous people. I loved this book because of the way Jami told the story and how everything came together.

Prince Alvin was more than willing to give Jasmine a happily ever after, but an evil stepmother has different ideas. Will love be enough to conquer all or will this be just the beginning of their adventures?

My Review: Ms. Lyons has penned a cute and sensual story based on all the fairy tales we’ve all grown up on and love.  I very much enjoyed reading the short read.

Cole, Rogan's young assistant manager, wants Lana. But when he loses control and nearly takes her right there in the restaurant, he knew he risked both of their jobs. Before things can be righted, he receives bad news from home. He has to leave Lana before anything happens between them. Then things balloon between them and he can't keep his hands off, nor can she until she learns only part of the truth of his leaving.

My Review: Lana Moore worked at Rogn's Steakhouse. Cole, the assistant manager, had just told her she was closing again tonight. Cole wanted every thing clean for the regional manager's visit in the morning and knew that she would make sure everything was clean.  Lana called her sister, Aleece, to make sure that someone would be giving their father his ten o'clock insulin injection since she wouldn't be getting off early. Lana worked with Cole as a food runner that night and made sure every thing was clean.  She helped Cole run the receipts to enter them in the computer and then Cole invited her to stay for a drink. Lana declined since she had to open in the morning too. Cole advanced on her and tore a button from her shirt. Getting his head back, he told her to get a new shirt from the office, then she left to go home. 

The next morning he waited impatiently for Lana to show up at work. He was worried that his little episode the night before had scared her into not showing up this morning.  He saw her walk in the front door and headed toward the bar. There he came upon her bent over cleaning the soda fountain spray nozzle. He was having fantasies of bending her over and having his way with her. After arranging a banquet for sixty people, he headed to the men's room to relieve himself.

Back in his office doing more paper work, one of the servers came knocking on his door. She informed him that Lana was holed up in the restroom. He went to check it out and found Lana shaking and upset. She informed him that her blood sugar was low and that she hated him for making her want him so bad, then proceeded to run out the front door and home.  Cole's mother had phoned him and told him that the chemo treatments his father were having weren't helping him and they didn't think he would live that much longer. His father wanted him to come to Chicago and run his own restaurant but, he didn't want to leave Lana behind.

Will Cole go to Chicago and open a restaurant taking Lana with him? Will Lana distance herself from Cole and never know happiness?

Bekki Lynn writes a sexy story of love in the workplace. I found myself sympathizing and disagreeing with Lana but, all turns out in the end.

My Review:  Ms. Hilton has penned a novel that is immediately engaging, expertly researched and written.  The sexual tension crackles and the sex scenes of Hot!  The excellent sensory and descriptive details made me feel like I was in the story.

When school got out for the summer Ali took the boys to her home before she married Bill, in Colorado. Bill had bought Ali's childhood home and gave the deed to her for their tenth Wedding Anniversary. She dropped the boys off at her mother's and headed for her cabin in the woods. Here she was pretty much in seclusion and could continue her writing. Cam had sent her beautiful flowers before she left and he was concerned about her being at the cabin all by herself. Her mother invited her to lunch after church and she reacquainted with old friends. She attended a church dance for the kids that night and ran into a man that used to have a thing for her in high school. When the dance was over he took her to his house and things got cozy between the sheets. Ali had told Bill earlier that day that she wanted to separate. He was bending over backwards to
make her his priority and she knew that wouldn't last. Bill was very persistent and eventually Ali agreed to reconcile. She attended a golf tournament with Bill and the press had coverage of their love for one another. She had told Cam that they were reconciling and that she was sorry for hurting him. 

 

 

Summary: The night her car broke down and she wandered lost in the woods was something Jenny Logan would have liked to have forgotten. Instead, she forgot who she was - a fall in the forest and she awakes in a cabin, but not alone. Two handsome strangers tend to her in ways she couldn’t have imagined. When Jenny’s memory returns, the men in her life are gone, but not forgotten. Will she see them again? And when she does, will she experience that night of lust again?

My Review: When I read this title all I could think of was the Double Mint commercial Double Your Pleasure, Double Your Fun. Boy does this story do both. Jenny finds herself in between twins in a very pleasurable way. Mary Suzanne paints extremely hot sex scenes, that keeps you reading. If you’re looking for a hot quick read I’d definitely recommend this book.

Summary: Rebekah comes from a long line of women who have pledged to serve Diana, the Goddess of Hunt. Diana’s latest summoning has Rebekah racing to stop a mass demon possession on All Hallows Eve. Rebekah is warned however, if she doesn’t find her mates, failure is imminent. Diana also conveniently forgets to mention that Pluto, the God of the Underworld, is behind the mass possession, in an effort to reclaim the huntress Diana has stolen from him. The same huntress Diana merged with Rebekah as a newborn. When Rebekah finds out the only way to not have her huntress taken from her is to allow herself to be mated, she is livid. Not knowing where to find the Sons of Apollo, who are to be her mates, she enlists the help from her best friends, Jase and Dustin, never dreaming they are the mates she is looking for. When Rebekah finds out, she refuses to allow the brothers to mate her. Will time run out or will the brothers claim her before Pluto comes for her huntress?

My Review: The eXcessica offering Mating of Rebekah is an uneven tale possessing both highs and lows but still an interesting and worthwhile effort. The prelude is wonderful, imparting a rich sense on history, mythology, and a sense of time honored tradition, but unfortunately that sense gets beaten down somewhat.

The story revolves around with Rebekah, a modern day servant of the Goddess Diana, being told of a plot by Pluto to claim both a large quantity of human souls, and her huntress spirit in a Halloween raid of sorts. She and her protectors, the twin hunks Jason and Dustin, must protect the humans and Rebekah’s huntress spirit which Pluto wants back due to hi feeling that he was robbed of it by Diana. Now we add a third god, Apollo, who Jason and Dustin serve and who imbues them with hunter spirits.

The problem becomes that the story quickly and continuously becomes too busy, too many heads in the mix. First of all Dustin and Jason are telepathic, so we get their thoughts in streaming italics, which can be confused easily with Rebekah’s inner thoughts, also italics, and helped not the least by the two gods, Diana and Apollo, popping in and out of the story to give advise and warning to their charges.

Now please don’t misunderstand me, the story itself holds up, and this reviewer could follow it, but readers who are confused and annoyed by multiple points of view and busy scenes should be warned as this has a hefty helping of that.

The story weaves its way through the spicy hot mating of Rebekah, by her twin hunks, but then loses it’s mythological appeal a bit in a scene where all three fight a band of demons sent by Pluto outside a local supermarket. The action and dialog become more Batman and Robin or Justice League than mythological.

Ms. Trace provides us with a nice HEA ending where Rebekah is one sated huntress, and she even gets to gives her goddess boss a little comeuppance for putting her through the whole experience.

Summary: Janet Delaine discovers she made a big mistake granting her long time boyfriend his sexual fantasy. John changes…for the worse. Janet turns for help to John’s childhood buddy, Cliff, only to discover feelings she’s kept suppressed. Will she stick it out with John or finally allow her heart to rule?

Trying to make a change in her life, she takes on the job as manager at a local grocery story. Things move along quite nicely until one late night, after locking up the store, a confrontation with John leaves her stranded to walk home the eight long blocks alone.

A mugging later, one hospital stay, and the threat of an explicit video to be released if she doesn’t behave, Janet is at the end of her rope.

My Review: Liam Stalls has encompassed a number of issues in this erotic romance.  The opening to Disoriented Dress is a little unnerving, and Mr. Stalls continues to unnerve us throughout the story with the issues of domestic and sexual abuse.  However, our heroine Janet will overcome all the odds and find love with the hero Cliff who is there at every moment to support her…not to mention drive her mad in bed. I give Disoriented Dress 4 Delightful Divas.

Summary: Lydia's eighteenth birthday gift is a sea cruise with her parents to the Antilles Islands. There she meets the gorgeous native clam collector, Soma. Their attraction for each other is instant and they become lovers.

According to native custom, Soma now believes Lydia is his wife and offers her family wedding gifts. Even though the family dismisses the entire affair as a humorous misunderstanding, Lydia feels mystified and confused.

The family is invited and takes part in the festivities celebrating the native fertility goddess. The festivities proceed in unexpected ways.

Will Lydia accept the native customs or choose her family and break Soma's heart?

My Review: For her eighteenth birthday, Lydia’s parents take her on a cruise to the Antilles Islands.   While there, she meets a native, Soma, and finds him very attractive.  He does not speak English, but the language of love and attraction is universal.  When Lydia gives her virginity to Soma, she has no idea that it means, according to Soma’s beliefs, that she is now his wife. Will Lydia choose her family or her lover and his native customs?

Underwater Romance is a very short story, only sixteen pages.  Although the plot was cute in it’s own way, I felt that more dialog and a better flow would have made this a much more enjoyable read.  The first sex scene was a bit awkward and did not flow well at all for me.  The second was a little better, though it still didn’t flow as well as it could have.  The descriptions just weren’t there to really draw me in to the story or the heat between the two.  I felt sorry for Lydia because she was a sweet, naïve girl with her first crush.  She was flattered by his attention, then astounded and embarrassed to find out that he considered them married.  I did not get to know Soma at all.  There was no dialog from him, nor any thoughts.  I think that this book has great potential with more dialog and better-developed characters.

Review: 

I was immediately drawn into this book with its beautiful description of landscape, and the hunky man, locked in a demons world for eternity, Snow, Lord of the Coldlands. You are then whisked to another world where Jaella seeks help from the Prince of the Coldlands, only to be answered by Snow. She is immediately attracted his other worldly physique, and he to her. In steps another warrior hero, Jaella’s kinsman Rayne. They all succumb to passions to save the human race, and in it find eternal love. Before you know it you’ll be burning up from this steamy read.
Mr. Barnette weaves his words like his magical world, into sensual, tension filled, elegant prose, that draws you in and holds you until you’ve read every last word, and are begging for more.

Ever ask an author if the characters take over, if they talk back and do
their own thing.  We always give polite answers about how they might turn out more forceful or sexy than we expected or some other trait. The real truth might just surprise you. Take one long shipwrecked woman throw in a newly shipwrecked man with only one place to stay on the island. Stir vigorously and you'll get. . . Writer's Block!

Review:
Delicious looking recipe at the beginning. From the very beginning you get the idea of the trip a writer takes when beginning a story. Notes here and there let you know what the writer is thinking. I found the dedication to all writers who just can’t get past the block to be very fitting, and will recommend it to all of my writing friends. This read is simply hilarious when the hero Brede starts taking over and talking to the author Jennifer, and she is talking back, then they argue. I was laughing out loud, having thought of how many times my own characters take control of me. This is an excellent read for a reader to see what a writer goes through, and to laugh at the process.

An interesting and heartwarming look into the love and passion shared in an open marriage.  But not just your ordinary open marriage, Ally, Eric and Nick are “married” to each other.  Each loving the other in turn.  Until their individual lives start to take control and their relationship is pushed aside, gut-wrenching at some points as their dreams are ripped out from underneath them.  But in the end these three fabulous characters pull together to continue their passionate and loving lives.

Ms. Grant weaved a spellbinding story between the three main characters and I really enjoyed traveling along their path with them.  I look forward to reading more of Ms. Grant's work.

woman with too much time on her hands. Her one quest is to find the perfect pearl and in turn the perfect lover. Her adventures take her across the country and half way around the world. She meets gorgeous men who provide her with titillating sexual escapades. She may find the pearl she's been searching for is closer than she thinks.
Desiree Holt has several titles with Ellora's Cave and this one is a great addition to her work. Readers searching for new titles to add to their libraries will want to get this one. Ms. Holt is able to bring characters together with many hot, steamy sex scenes. Her endings will leave you satisfied and breathless. All of this in a quickie that can be read in one afternoon.

Tori works for a local t.v. station as a nightly news anchor. When she starts receiving hate mail, her boss decides to hire Casey as her bodyguard. Tori meets Casey and the first thought to enter her head is that he is her guardian angel. An attraction develops between them immediately and sizzles into a heated affair. Although Casey finds the pull of Tori's attraction almost too much to resist, he feels he can't protect her if he's too emotionally involved. Tori understands what he is trying to do, but she isn't too happy with his decision.

Review:
Ok I know this was a romantic suspense, but couldn’t there have been just a little more twist and turns. I don't want to give anything away so I won't get into it. Although I have to say one part of the ending did have me saying, "I didn't see that coming." The romantic element was wonderful with the build up between Tori and Casey, and the pacing was right on. In my opinion there were a few scenes the book could have done without, for example the side trip to Casey's sister's. It showed you a little bit of Casey, but didn't seem prudent to the story line. Over all this was a good book and I give it 4 Delightful Divas.
